lost emails after update
A friend has just updated IE4 to IE6. He didn't realise this also updated outlook express. I can't get to his computer but if he tries importing them from OE4 with the import wizard will it find them? Are they still there somewhere?
Any help greatly appreciated. |

Most probably. Were the files stored in the default location? Or did he change it?

The e-mails should all still be there. Upgrading OE should do nothing more than just that, it doesn't edit any settings or delete any files. If he changed the default location he might have to change it again as the upgrade probably set the default location back to default.
