Is their any free progams to keep track of the traffic that comes to your web site

There are many sites that provide free counters to add to your site, one of them is (www.bravenet.com), it'll give you good statistics about your site's traffic.

I used sparklit for ages, at http://www.sparklit.com

But then set up my own counter through a cgi script, which i think is alot better - look into cgi scripts too, there more felixable,

e.g. You could have an extra hidden counter on each page that would thne update a html page showing statistics of which areas of your site are more popular than others..

Just an idea
