Paypal is probably the easiest method of payment although they do get a pretty hefty percentage. Getting more traffic is a fine art. It takes time and persistance to get there. Forget the counter. Look at your webstats to see about your visitors. I would also work on improving your site to give it a more professional look. The main things that you could do would be to come up with a logo for your site. Make your graphics look more professional by anti-aliasing them. Improve your navigation and layout. Maybe have some specials on the home page, etc.

I agree with mairving. Paypal has some services to assist with website payments, so you should check into them. I would focus on getting your website up to par, such as making it look more professional, correcting typos and grammatical mistakes, and making it a bit more obvious exactly what it is you are selling.

a logo would go great (make sure you register it). also, why do you have navigation on the top and the side? since it seems like the stuff above the upper navigation never changes, maybe you should make a frame up top to hold your nav stuff, and have everything load on the bottom frame. and all of your graphics look sort of cheesy, and the colors a bleeding on your jpg's. try fixing that up a little. and maybe you could put a view cart up top, too.
as for payment, paypal would be the easiest for a small site like yours.

Definitely you don't need navigation everywhere. Keep it simple and people can manage just fine. Get rid of the orange/green background or change the button colors to something that blends a little better (like orange/green buttons).
You look to be headed in the right direction, pages load fast and they're pretty clean (not cluttered) you just need a little help with artwork and a logo. It's easy to make a nice logo with a program like photopaint or paint shop pro etc. with just type and the buttons, same thing but keep it all simple as you've done so far. Personally I'd get rid of the side buttons and background or at least put a blue sided background on the left to match the top buttons. If you need help with artwork holler, that's what I've been doing for many years. My site is listed here in my profile if you want to see it (http://www.outdoorwebdesign.com) and I work cheap (sometimes even free) Texas2Step |
