Since pop3 accounts are only available through ISP's, the only way to get one for free is to sign up for a free ISP. To get a free web-based email account, you might try Hotmail or Yahoo.

If you want to find a free ISP, try this link:freedomlist

Hope this helps.

Sorry about the wrong info, Justin. Try this link http://www.freemailguide.com/ . Click on 'free pop3 email'. Didn't sign up for anything, but checked a few of them out and some seemed like what you may be looking for.

I would recommend myrealbox.com - it's totally free and offers both POP3 and IMAP mail. It's Novell's engineering test site for their NetMail product.

Another option is GMX.de, it supports POP3 too, it has only one problem, it's a German site, so if you don't know German, you can use an online translation service, like Google or Altavista.
