Do a search for files containing jeeves and delete those. There are probably files located on your drive associate with that program, you'll have to track them down and get rid of them. I've grown to like regcleaner when deleting programs because it "cleans" them off.

I agree that their site is trash. Use google for all of your searches, and life will be a lot easier.

Why not run Ad-aware and see if it can get rid of that stuff.

When they started, the were a great search engine. But unfortunately, they went down the tubes quickly.

lol - they had their IPO and that's all the founders needed to cash-out and retire. Typical dot com syndrom!

There are no dumb questions - only dumb answers

IPO = Initial Public Offering

That means the company went public with their stock. During the high-flying time of the Internet bubble many companies did their IPO and stock buyers were pushing those stock into price ranges far away from any realistic numbers. Many people owning stock in these startup dot coms got rich fast, sold their stock and retired - real investors (venture capitalists) are picking up the tab now (bancrupcy of dot coms)

Slightly OT:

Another cool search engine (flash-based) is KartOO - http://www.kartoo.com/

I use when looking for a bunch of sites related to a topic (instead of just one, quick answer). Google is still the best, though.

Well, actually I'm at 1280 x 1024 (at work). At home I'm at 8x6.

You'll need Flash, of course, and maybe that's the issue you're having. They have an HTML link if you don't have flash.

Well, I'm befuddled. I just went to the site and it looks good to me.

Try http://invisibleweb.com/ as an alt. It's no Google, mind you.
