PHP apache server
I've got an apache server set up (latest apache) and want to enable php, i've got the php file but cant make any sense of the instructions, can someone go through the steps
Im on a linux server, so its a lil different then when i did it on a windows server (im not sure if this post would be better in the linux forum) All help really apprecited Last edited by Battery Powered; 08-23-2002 at 02:20 PM. |

Basically you have to compile Apache with PHP. Here's a help file:

Thx for the link,
But cant just add it on to the install i've already done? I dont mind installing it again but thought there might be a way to do without the re-install And if i do just install again do i have to un-install the current install of apache i have? if so whats the best way of uninstalling it |

Yeah, you aren't really installing it again, just compiling it with PHP. You might as well go ahead and stick MySQL in the mix too.

I saw the tutorial there aswell for MySQL so i thought i'de give it a go
