Question Saving folders

I got a message from IE saying I needed the latest version of IE6 to view certain graphics properly so I figured, what the hell. This gave me OE6 which had good changes and bad changes. It also saved my address book but erased all my folders. Thank heaven for GoBack. Should I decide to upgrade, is there a way to save those folders without doing something tricky like renaming .dll files?

By the way, GoBack or something like it. is essential. It reverts your hard drive back in time so if something bad happens, you restore your computer to the way it was before. It's bailed me out a dozen times from little stuff to big stuff.
