Question

I use to see icons for my "favorites" sites and I don't anymore. Is there a setting for this? Thanks.

I notice that my icons are like that too instead of special icons representing the site. It just sort of changed one day... wonder why.

Question

I remember something about this problem. Did you recently clean out the "cookie" jar. I believe a cookie is placed on your pc for the icon. Try removing site from favorites and then re-do. It has something to do with cookies or temp int files.

Yup seems like that's the solution, but I figured there could be another method instead of replacing bookmarks.

I guess M$ wants us to look at their drab folder icon or they think the blue explorer icon is all we need.

Lightbulb

There is a method that can be used and it is a little program called "Cookie Viewer" by Karen Kenworthy. It allows you to save or delete cookies of your choice. Works good.http://winmag.com/columns/powertools/ptcookie.htm

Unhappy

I deleted mine and added again with no luck. Cookies may be selective. Will try again.
