Question Ie 5.0

Photo's only come up as blank boxes with a red x on certain sites where the photo should be. I have tried right clicking to show picture but no success. Any ideas on the problem and how to solve it?

Have you tried this?
-On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
-Click the Advanced tab.
-Click to select the Show pictures check box(under Multimedia)
-Click OK.

If that doesn't work, did you installed Web Accessories for IE5? Check the toggle images.exe link on the links toolbar.

Checked

Show pictures is checked off under teh advanced tab for internet options. I don't have the install for web accessoires I think that is a 5.5 install. I was able to view these pictures today and only a few minutes later the problem occured with no new changes to my system. I then tried the updates from Microsoft but stuck with the 5.0 since that version is supposed to have fewer bugs. This really baffles me so any help would be great.

Stranger things have been known to happen!

Usually the first thing to try for problems like this is clear the temporary internet files.
