Morpheus through proxi?
Ive just installed Morpheus 2 but am not having any luck finding anything. Could my proxi server be blocking it and if so how do I get around it?

I never got Morpheus to work and neither have any of my friends. I have gotten winmx but then it started to freeze up. But Kaaza lite works the best for me. Make sure u get the "Lite" version as it has lil' spyware and not too many ads.

If you are behind a proxy server, then you need to configure Morpheus properly, I think that Morpheus only supports SOCKS proxy, so what is the type of your proxy server?

It is a socks proxi do I have to enter a port number to get it to work?

yes, don't you know the port number? Try 1080 or ask your network admin.

If you can't find a field to input the port number, type: proxyurl:port
Into the SOCKS proxy field. |

Tried 1080, 4480 and proxiurl
 ort in options, connect box of morpheus above my own ip address. It seems to be scanning hosts but the status field says "stopped/outgoing". It retries, says "connecting" once and then "stopped/outgoing" once more for each host it tries. I dont have access to the proxi settings just now but perhaps some rules are blocking it on the proxi????? What do you think aym_7? |
