Question Need Opinions for IE6 SP1

Has anyone d/l'd this for Win98se? What are your opinions about what it does? Are there any down sides to it.? Do I lose any privacy between my pc and MS?

I haven't had any problems with it. It does have all of the critical updates with it or at least it did last week.

Hi Kubie,

I was having trouble with IE since the updates just before SP1. Lotsa freezes / hangups and the like. It was like that for weeks. I updated to SP1 and it's been smooth sailing since. Yes, this is a Win 98.2 box.

Hi Kubie

One more vote for IE6 and SP1. I put it on 2 Win98, 1 Win98SE, and 1 Win2000 = no problems. (but I hadn't had any problems before, either). I just like those security updates fresh.

I thought IE took a turn for the worse when 6 came out. I thought IE 5.5 was alot better and faster. However now since I started using Mozilla I havent used IE at all, dont think I will any time soon either.
