Seems that NapMX is another good alternative.

Er, I'm totally lost myself. I have never used it.

Have you checked the program's FAQ?

OK. Think I managed to understand it a lil'.

Do you have WinMX and NapMX running? Do you have the 3.x version of WMX?

Just click the Update List button in NapMX. A long list of servers will appear. Now, click on the Export button and click the button that allows you to save it as a .wsx file.

OK, now in WinMX, go to the Networks section. Click on the Open Nap Protocols Networks. Several buttons will appear at the top. Click on the Import .WSX button and select the file you previously saved in NapMX. The complete list of servers will appear.

Now you can select as many as you want and click on the Connect button. This will allow you to increase the number of options for downloading files. At least that is what I understood NapMX is for.

Hope another member will see this thread and shed some more light on it. I'd like to know if what I found out is true.

Switch to Kazaa_Lite and you won't have that problem.

NapMX allows WinMX users to use the OpenNap network(s). It's fairly easy -- create a list, Export the list, In WinMX's OpenNap Protocal import the .WSX, and log on to one or any of the servers. It's really not that hard...the NapMX web page outline's the process.

Keep in mind, if you are trying to download on either network, many WinMX/OpenNap users have their connections monitored to only allow broadband connections. So if you are on dialup, that may be your problem.

And BTW, crying, stomping your feet and complaining like a child won't get you too far in these forums.

Of course you will get various virii, ports scans and a selection of trojans....but you won't have to worry about figuring out NapMX.
