modem port
How can you tell what port your modem is connected too? I am trying to set it up where I can go online.

My Computer --> Properties --> Device Manager --> Modems --> Double click on the modem --> There will be a list of things
one of which is 'Location'. Next to that is "on Communications Port (COM1)". COM1 (whatever yours says) is the port it is connected to HTH, Thanks, Jim |
