autoconnect

How can I get my computer to automatically dial-in when i startup my computer.

I'm using Windows XP.

I can't prove it, but if you set the Internet options to always dial your default connection, use a real start page, and put a shortcut to IE in your startup that should do it. It will at least bring up the Connect dialog.

You may have to configure Autodial so you don't have to hit the Connect button - search the help system for autodial.

I've never tried it, but I would say having Outlook open on startup would also do it.

Couldn't you first check the "Connect Automatically" box on the Dial-Up box, then create a shortcut to the Dial-Up connection, and finally place that shortcut in the Startup folder?
