Is it me or them
For the past day or so I have been trying to download Multimedia Center tv wonder software from the ATI web site, but the download will only download about 900KB then stop, I was wondering if maybe I could post the link and somebody(s) could test it out and see if they could get any farther then me. The full size of the download is about 10MB and this is the URL for it:
http://mirror2.ati.com/drivers/MMC71tvwonder.exe I have tried different browsers, dial up #'s, download managers, and still no luck. I would think that someone (especially the DSL/Cable guys) would be able to get the whole thing. If it's just me and others can download the whole thing maybe that same someone with a nice fast DSL/Cable connection could download all of it for me and ftp the file to a different location, could even use part of my free web space that I hardly use at all, or whatever, work something out. |

Sheesh, that site is like dial-up. Only 4.2k/sec and I'm on cable.
Surely there's a faster link? |

Try this one - it looks like a different site.

I only got 5 or 6k per second, however that link still did the trick for me and my lowly dial up connection, thanks arubahounds.

On one of the many times I tried the first link I also got up to 80k, but I think thats because I tried so many times to download it, the first 900kb of the file just stayed in the memory or was in the cache folder or something like that. After about 8% compleation it kept comming to a big fat 0. Could of been like that one time when everyone in my side of town was on the phone at the same time.... just kidding.

Actually the 80K speed was after I cleared the memory/diak cache. Anyhoo I'm glad you got the file d/l'd thanks to arubahounds.
