What connection are you on
Details appreciated....
![]() I am on a DSL connection myself with about 40kb/s download speed and 12kb/s upload speed. Not super-fast, but at least I have a 24/7 connection

i'm on a 56k connection, but it connects around 37k... and my downloads are mind numbingly slow.

On DSL, 768/256 advertised, 922/128 is the average of what i actually get/

cable connection, from belgium. recently downloaded mandrake 9
got 500kb/s. upload is heavily capped to 20 or so. (most pple have dsl around here, so i think thats why i get great speed (all alone on big cable line or so). fastest ive seen it go was around 650 (from german server) Last edited by grasshopperbe; 10-17-2002 at 12:05 PM. |

56k Modem connects at 24,000 sometimes I get lucky and get 26,400. I can't get dsl.
