Unhappy outlook express 6

I have seen similar problems with OE 6 but still can't fix.
When I try to open a link on an outlook message a new window opens but nothing happens. The window and address bar are blank, but pasting the link in the address bar works fine. I have reset web settings. Another suggestion was to go to add/remove programs in the control pannel and run "Repair Internet Explorer"
I can't find this "Repair Internet Explorer" anywhere. Where do I go from here?

To repair, you click on Microsoft Internet Explorer in add/remove, then click on the add/remove button. Repair will be one of the options that comes up.

I'm not an IE or OE user, but I think the next thing I would try is either update IE/OE 6 to SP1, or uninstall IE 6 and let it revert to your previous version which would probably be 5.0 or 5.5.

This problem started with IE and OE 5 and I tried installing newest version 6 to fix. This problem started last week after deleting lots of unwanted emails. Thge following day I received 50 emails from system administrator saying all the names on the emails were unknown. I am on road runner and have sent an email to them and waiting for reply.

Are you running anti-virus software? If not go to Trend micro and do a scan of your system.
