A friend of mine sent me a couple opf photes thru email. He uses MSN and I use earthlink.net as ISP. I am running win 95. For some reason I cant print the picture. Can anyone advise me how this can be done?? I get an error message stating maybe I'm low in memore (I doubt this-I have 176ram on this machine and I dont keep multi windows open at a time) or it may not be recognized by quick time. The picture is in a jpeg format. Please help if you can. Many Thanks.

Hi chaltun,
Are you saving the image file to your hard drive somewhere? Try using IrfanView32 to view and print the .jpeg image. Cricket

Hey Cricket:
Discovered the clue as to how to handle this problem. As I previously wrote for some reason I cant print some photos sent via email to me by clicking on file/print; nor could I save it. Last night I went to clean out my Windows/temp files and there were the two photos I wanted to print. Apparantly for some reason, when I opened these email jpeg files in IE v5.5 it puts a duplicate into the temp folder. I still couldn't print them thru the browser but I was able to print them thru "Print Artist"...a greeting card, etc program. Many Thanks for trying to help me. |
