microsoft exchange server

Hi folks ...I just did a format and reinstall of windows 98se,and IE 5.5 with updates,and now when I try to access my E-mail (outlook express) from the browser I get this window that says Microsoft exchange server, What the heck is this and what do I put in the line for MES and mail box???This has me stump'd never seen this before...TIA...GaryD....

microsoft exchange server is a type of server used to manage mail and contacts etc.

it's odd that your outlook express would be popping up with that, since outlook express is not even able to interact with exchange (as far as my knowledge goes, anyway).

You say you are accessing it from IE...are you sure you are accessing Outlook Express and not Outlook?

Go to Tools...Internet Options...Programs in IE and make sure the mail program is Outlook Express and not Outlook.

Thanks Homer15 for the response, But do you know how or if I can remove that and be able to access my mail from the browser?GaryD..
