About three months ago I signed up with @home They installed their custom stuff onto my Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. Now the browser says "Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by @home" and has the @ emblem up in the right hand corner that spins around when loading or searching for a web site. I discontinued @home after about a month. However, I cannot get rid of the @home custom stuff that they injected into my browser. I definitely do not like it and want to get back to the real Microsoft Internet Browser without the @home junk affecting it.
I tried downloading the browser from Microsoft's web site, but it did not have any effect on the @home junk. I have tried to uninstall and delete every file I can find on my computer that has an @home file name on it, but cannot change the browser. Do you know how I can get rid of the @home customized browser and go back to the original Microsoft browser that comes with my windows 98? |

To remove all Internet Explorer branding, follow these steps:
1.Click Start. 2.Click Run. 3.Type rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear and then click OK. 4.Restart Internet Explorer. You do not need to restart Windows for this change to take effect. |

glc, worked liked a champ. I had same problem (?). The c in Clear needs to be capital, as you typed it. Took several tries until I got it, as usual.
