XHTML Validation

Can anyone tell me what the solution is to make this code validate in XHTML:

What is "alt" and how do i specify it?

You can also surround the code with the VB [ code ] brackets or [ php ] brackets so that it won't be parsed.

Use [ PHP ] tags, [ CODE ] tags won't help.
