Pissed Another form of spam!!

Went to eat and upon returning this annoying popup was staring at me in the face. In the title bar it said: "Messenger Message". So I suspect it came thru the MSM.

How do I stop those ads from appearing?

So far I only have received one or two of those, but I can see they will be coming in large packs in no time.

Have not got one of those on my home computer yet but in one the Engineering computer labs at my University every single machine (36 total )had one proudly placed in the center of the screen. To disable it turn off Messenger service, this topic has come up before and is in the forums, somewhere.

The step-by-step instructions are on this page. The method used to stop the ads is different for different operating systems and they're all listed on that site.
