Cool

Is "Tools" present with Netscape? If so, click Tools, Internet Options. It's under the general tab.

Hi Nuclear Krusader

Which version?? In the 4.x versions, it was a convoluted mess to do this. Don't know about the newer version, as v6 was sooooo bad I took it off my system. Still have 4.7 installed, though, but have been using IE....

I don't have Netscape installed, but did you try to associate it with HTML files and HTTP protocol in Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types ?

If you have XP with SP1 you can do this

Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Set Program Access and Defaults > Custom. When you get there look for the option to "Choose a default Web browser : "

Send a message via AIM to kittyfire
What happened to opening the browser that's not default and having Windows inform you it's not the default browser then ask if you'd like to make it the default browser?

You can tell it to "Never Display this Message Again" and it won't. With Netscape 4.x, it's 'on' switch is very deeply buried...
