Msn 8 & Call Waiting
just upgraded my dad to msn 8. on the old msn when he got a phone call a box would come up. saying there's a call. with msn 8 it doesn't work. I also upgraded computers on him. the modem is one of those acr riser ones. so I was wondering if it could be the modem? any ideas? he also has web tv and the call waiting works on that.

I don't know a whole lot about that, but I do believe that call waiting thing is a function of the modem and associated software. I could work in conjunction with the MSN software, but I would think the modem has to be capable cause one usually dials the *70 to disable callwaiting while online.
