email using cgi, not forms
hi, i have a cgi bin now and i want to have my email address (ex: me@mysite.com) go to some type of software where i can send email and not have it reply from (ex: me@yahoo.com) but rather the email it was sent to originally. b/c right now i am using a forwarding service. is there a way i can do this? thanks

This is a pretty popular CGI script that does what you need.

thanks for that link but i think that's just more form stuff. maybe i've confused you. i don't need forms for a website. i need a email interface like outlook or something where when people send an email to me@mysite.com i can check the mail and reply. then when the person emailing me sees that i have sent them mail, it will show up as coming from me@mysite.com rather than me@yahoo.com as it does with the forwarding service. is this possible? or can i do it with outlook somehow? thanks.

Just set your reply-to address in Outlook to the me@mysite.com and it will work fine.

Ah sorry, I thought you meant that you wanted the emails to be automatically sent from the site.
