Wink Domain Name

I have constructed a website for the local club I belong to, the title of the club is a registered trademark. Is there a site where I can register the Domain myself or do I have to pay someone to register it. I have a web host already and they do not register the domain for free. thanks

GoDaddy is the best domain registrar I've used, only ~$9 a year and great service.

GoDaddy is the best and one of the cheapest. They don't have dishonest practices as some of the others like Dotster and Register.com have.

What dishonest practice does Dotster have? I guess I'm unaware of that.

To me it is a little bit dishonest/unethical for a registar to allow people to bid on your site before the domain name has even expired. I have known some people that have lost their domains when they forgot to renew the domain name the day that it expired. Funny thing none of them ever got renewal notices from Dotster.

I have several domains with Dotster and have never had that happen. That is strange.

Send a message via AIM to Xayd
Just lost mine from a crappy registrar as well, never got a renewal notice and emails to the registrar (who now shows as the owner of the domain) have been ignored.

I've also heard good things about GoDaddy.

I switched to GoDaddy - and it only took them 2 days to get my domain away from Network Solutions - I was very impressed.
