What and Where Is Forum Information Stored On Computer
When someone registers for a forum or an email account, there is some information that is sent to your computer. What is this information submitted and where is it placed and under what file name and if I wanted to find a particular file from a particular forum out of many I have registered for, how would I go about doing so.

Hi Harry,
It's stored in a cookie text file under the Temporary Files or Cookies directory (depending on which browser you use). Use a tool like Karen's Cookie Viewer to see the info they store. http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptcookie.asp Hope that helps. |

Much obliged. I will try it out. I'm also wondering if a forum usually sends just one cookie or several. But maybe the program will tell me.

Most that I've seen store all the info in one cookie, but you can see them all anway using that program.
