Webmail
I was thinking I should use a web based email for when I sign up for things I know will get me spam and such, but what's the best one and can I get viruses through webmail?

I use hotmail for that.
hotmail is virus scanned, however there is a always a better virus out there. At least in Hotmail you have the option to delete with out opening. And it is free. 2meg www.hotmail.com Last edited by Byte 2.0; 12-12-2002 at 01:36 AM. |

Another vote for yahoo, as it gives you 6MB of space.

Activator mail. Super spam/trojan filters that yahoo and hotmail just don't have.

If you just want a "throwaway" account to augment your regular account, Yahoo is as good as any.
