Post Curious Question

Hi,

I'm trying out a browser, Phoenix (for Linux). It won't load PCMech. All other sites I've tried it works fine, just not here.

It is based on Mozilla. And Moz renders this site just fine. So I'm just wondering why the difference? I would think that if Mozilla works just fine Phoenix should too.

OOPS!

The site has some problems with some versions of NS browsers. For instance, Netscape 4.7 will load the page fine until you login and then a blank page displays. I think that it mostly has to do with some of the coding in the banner ads. Iframes and NS have never played well together.

Hi mairving,

Thanks for the answer, you are probably right. I'm going to dump Phoenix. It's a little rough around the edges. Faster than a scalded cat though.
