Lightbulb V-dsl

I've read up on vdsl a little bit. its really exciting that is has 52 mb/s speed. I was wondering if anyone knew when to expect it ?????????????????

It's in a couple of test markets with the telcos now. I heard something about SBC trying it out in Dallas if I remember correctly.


When to expect it everywhere? Considering DSL isn't that profitable and the current idea from the telcos is to keep DSL a far shot away from T1 performance so as to preserve that entrenched T1 to T3 market at the expense of the rest of us whether we like it or not, maybe....never ?
