problems with mozilla 1.2.1?
Does anyone else seem to have problems with the new mozilla 1.2.1? I'm not sure what it is, but mozilla has been shutting down a lot lately, and I'm getting tired of all the "send error report?" messages.

Mine works fine on win2k.
How are you installing it? I have found the best way to install Mozilla and update it is this: Download the "talkback.zip" distribution from ftp.mozilla.org and simply unzip it into a folder - I use c:\mozilla. Then go into the \bin folder and drag out a shortcut to mozilla.exe to run it. I do NOT use the installer version. When you want to update it, DELETE the entire \bin folder and just unzip the new talkback.zip into c:\mozilla. You do NOT lose your preferences, bookmarks, mail, or anything else this way, they are kept elsewhere. The last time I tried installing a newer version of Mozilla over the top of an earlier version, I had nothing but problems like you describe. |

Thanx glc, but could you be a little more specific on the location of talkback.zip? I was looking around ftp.mozilla.org for it, but couldnt find it.
