ad blockers
do you use ad blockers?i do! i use Pop-up blocker Free edition.it only blocks pop-ups but it works pretty well.another good way to block is to use "host" files.
also,do you think ad blocking is good? how will be get free information if they dont get money by using ads.....but some ads, especially popups, are annoying. i know some people that dont use flash because most ads are flash-based....kewl. |

I just use the Mozilla browser instead of IE. With one click I can stop popups and stop scripts within webpages from opening unrequested windows. And then I can right click on most any ad and select 'block images from this server' and bang -- no in page ads (other than Flash-based ads which are pretty rare).
So no 3rd party programs taking up memory -- just one heck of a secure browser with great features. -Craig |

Avant Browser (formerly ieopera). An add-in for IE. Blocks pop-ups and adds features found in opera to IE. 700-800k download. Very useful for those who like IE, adds what MS should have.
