email password remembering problem
Apologies in advance for this rather lame problem, but we cant find a way to sort it.
My girlfriend got a new laptop for christmas and for some reason we cant get outlook express to remember the mailbox passwords for her email accounts. In the account-properties dialogue, we click the box to remember the password, type it in and click apply. Everthing seems ok until we actually try to send and receive, where we are still prompted for a password each time. I'm sure there's something I've missed but cant find it and it's really frustrating!! Thanks in advance for any help |

Did the username and password that you stored work when you type it out manually (during the prompt for password)?
Do you get the box during sendmail or during check mail? |

It works when you type it in after the prompt
Asks both when sending and receiving |
