I love the layout, but not the colors (or lack of them). You need something to make it cheery, without being frivolous.
If you dont' want to get into heavy colors, give it some contrast. |

Yea its a nice layout, but like reboot said, you might want to make it a little happier. Even if it is just some outlining of other objects in a bright color, that would make it look a lot more colorful.

Nice setup, but a little color would be nice.

Remember what colors were suggested in your other thread. I recall that lpc300 recomended not using blue as it is the depression color.

Looks interesting- where are you getting the content for topics? Are you linking to other sites? As a school psychologist, this might be a useful site to refer some of my students to (depending on the final content). Keep my posted as to its progress.
BTW- there are a couple of misspelled words on the page. |

yeah, you see its more of a community not a large site of refrence and information. I hear that people really like to see content which attracts them to the site and then they themselves are attracted to the community (forums & cha3t).
Content comes from sites which specialize in the subject. FOr example, out depressionFAQ was borrowed from depressionFAQ.com, well most of it. I also link to other sites which provide exclusive content and/or have more information. |

Let me know when its online- I'll give the URl to other school psychologists and to the interns I supervise (I'm also adjunct faculty for Marshall U.). A site like this might be helpful for the depressed/anxious teens that are often referred to school psychologists.

I like the layout also. My suggestion is also add some color to it. Maybe add a picture or two of real people or a live shot of scenery such as a sunrise or sunset or something. Just some thoughts.

A sunrise would be preferable to a sunset from a psychological standpoint.
