I know that it's possible to send messages over a network using the net send function in the command prompt, but is there a way to do the same thing using an IP address. I think that I've seen it happen, but I'm not sure how this works. Any Ideas? Thanks.

hmmm
I've tried that before, but it didn't work. Would a firewall stop it from working, or would it ask if the user wanted to accept the message? Thanks for the info.
