I recently installed DSL through Southwestern bell. I had cable access through Cox-Internet. Now I am getting the following blue screens of death: Invalid VxD dynamic link call from Vwin32(05) + 0000119e to Device "0002", service 1. Windows configuration is invalid. Run windows setup...."
I called Southwestern Bell and they would not help. The tech support said this is a Microsoft issue and I should contact them. I told them that this had never occured until I installed their DSL service. NO HELP. If I run the Windows setup again, will I loose anything? Do I need to backup anything? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks! Reet |

Just look in device manager for yellow ! marks.
Remove them, and restart. If there is none, just reinstall windows right over top of itself. You won't lose anything at all. |

If you have Win98, just run SFC (system file checker) and extract vwin32.vxd from your CD or cab files. Their software or NIC driver may have installed a different incompatible version.
