popups
I am getting popups with no web borwser open. As soon as i connect to the net the popups begain. I downloaded some programs and I though I may of got some spyware but i got adaware and cleared the suspious stuff and it still happenes. Whats goin on. I have already unistalled the programs

I'll take a guess, and say that you have Windows messenger installed, NOT MSN messenger, that's different.
Uninstall it and they'll go away. |

I just restared my computer after i ran adware and no more popups.

ADAWARE is a good program. But you should try running Spybot Search and Destroy with the latest updates and it should clear off more spyware and adware that Adaware could of possibly forgot. Do a search for it on google.com for Spybot Search and Destroy.
If you have KAZZAA installed. Remove it and scan for spyware. Then you can downlooad KAZAA LITE which is the samething as KAZAA but without the adware/spyware and it is much faster. |

I heard "mozilla is a good internet browser, and is completly pop up free...many people on pcmech use it as an alternative to IE
