how do I disable auto-downloading from downloading files off websites?

I accidentally checkmarked the 'automatically download' option while downloading something and now I have no idea how to uncheck that option? I don't want everything I download off I.E. 6.0 to automatically download to the TEMP folder..it's not what I want.

-Is there a way to fix this?

im not sure if this will work but its worth a shot.

on your desktop right-click the internet explore shortcut then select properties. Click the advanced tab. then click on restore defaults.

try that and let me know if it works.
