This is interesting. Went to Earthlink's site and had it search for DSL availibility and it came back and said "I'm sorry. DSL not available to your address".
I've had DSL for two years. Apparently they don't keep up with DSL expansion in certain areas. Carl |

I'm guessing that Earthlink doesn't have an agreement with SBC and Covad has no DSLAM available in your local office.

Your right glc, thats the reason why my brother got his DSL through earthlink instead of SBC, even though it's like $10 more a month. As for me, I like earthlink, but since I live on L street and the SBC building is about 1 or 2 blocks from my house (at the most) I cant pass that up, I want to see how fast it will be.
