avx487,
The best thing to do is d/l it and give it a try. Unlike alot of other programs out there, it doesn't integrate itself into your system. Easy install, easy uninstall if you don't like it.
You will be amazed at the speed it has though.
Its alittle faster then Opera. Opera is another one you may want to look into. Nice browser also.

The complete install includes an IRC client, web browser, mail client, maybe an HTML editor too, I forget but it's lots of stuff .

If you don't intend to use it all the browser only install will work fine.

And one of the main points of using Mozilla to begin with, don't forget to go to the scripts and windows preferences and disable popups, you'll never see one again .

If you want something faster than Mozilla without the extra bloat, check out Pheonix.

To continue from the other thread........you may have to use the installer. I know I didn't on Win2000.

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/re...-installer.exe

It's been about a year now since I first installed Mozilla on my computer, I will never use IE again, Mozilla makes IE look like the aol browser.

yep,same here
i switched to mozilla a while ago because ie regularely errors, wouldnt keep me logged in to my yahoo, account and so on
since i got mozilla, no more unwanted pop -ups, unwanted cookies,....
and almost every setting you need is there, if you get the 'preferences' properly set up to your likings, its the best browser there is, at least i think so :-)

Been using it since the late-beta releases, best browser in my opinion as well. It's all I use.

I agree with DrZaius, I used to use Mozilla but now I use Pheonix but I have to say Opera 7 runs good...

I just started using Phoenix a week ago coincidentally. It's great, but PCMech doesn't seem to load on it. Go figure.
