unable to receive TCP connections

I'm wondering how come I can't receive incomming TCP connections (winmx told me ). I am not running a firewall, so what else could be causing this?

I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but I also get a LOWID on e-mule...any ideas?

thank you

I do not know about those programs but I have seen Kazaa completely screw-up TCP/IP

Double Click on My Computer
Double Click on Control Panel
Double Click on Network
Select TCP/IP and click Remove
Click Add
Double Click on Protocol
Select Microsoft as the Manufacturer
Select TCP/IP as the Network Protocol
Click Okay
Click Okay
The system will ask you to Restart
Click Yes

That won't work if you're on XP, you can't remove TCP/IP.
Turn off the firewall, and run edonkey's port checker http://www.preinheimer.com/cgi-bin/c...ectiontest.cgi . I think it's port 4661 and 4662 TCP, and 4665 UDP you need open for edonkey/emule.
