Web host and poll question

I am looking for a good web host that will support Invision Boards. I am building a page for a local youth group, and they would like to have a forum for their students. The project is only in the design stage, so I have time to find a web host.

Also, does anyone know how to code a poll on a web page? I would like to be able to do it in HTML, but it can be in another language if it is easier / better. Thanks for the help.

Nate

edit:
I have the layout of the poll already coded, and sitting in its own table. IE- buttons, options, vote, and view results button are visible. What I need is the script to actually save / show the results. Thanks again.

Hi,
Saving and showing the results can not be done with HTML or JavaScript, they require a server-side scripting language like PHP, and this depends on the web host you are going to use.
Check out http://hotscripts.com/ I did a search on 'poll' and found several free results.

PHP is certainly the best option, Perl or CGI would be the next best. PHP also gives you the ability to create images on the fly, with which you can create a graph showing poll results.

Plenty of hosts will support Invision Board. I use Host Matters as do several others here with good results. Their service is good and they are very good about keeping up to date on software upgrades, patches, etc. But there are plenty of other good hosts that will support it. You need someone that offers MySQL and PHP.
