Mercury Mail Help
I'm attempting to setup a Mercury Mail server for the company at which I work. However, I have one issue that I just can't resolve.
I can send mail all day long. However, it doesn't seem that I can get incoming mail totally delivered to the individual's mailbox. It seems, though, that incoming mail is making it to the server in that all sent messages are sitting in Mercury' queue. Eventually, the mail will get bounced back to the sender with an Error stating "Error connecting to primary server ' {time}: processing job {job ID number} Resolved MX for '{our domain name}' to {our external IP} Connecting to {our IP} Connection errror. We are on a T1 with a static IP and the appropriate ports forwarded through the router to the mail server. Is there something I need to modify in the hosts file? Internet searches reveal nothing. I'm at a loss. I doubt anyone can help me, but thanks anyway. Last edited by kcbhiw; 02-10-2003 at 11:48 AM. |

Yes, I've pored through there. Even the search feature doesn't yeild any help on something as simple as "connection error". Thanks for the suggestion, though.
