Red face

Some of my links seem to have gone adrift. For example when I try to 'get an online quote for car insurance I get 'page cannot be displayed'. As this is happening with several sites I guess I must have inadvertantly re-configured something. Some of the pictures that should appear on some sites or emails are just little squares with a red x in.
Any solutions would be most appreciated

I think sometimes the 'page cannot be displayed' is a timimg thing. You get it if the request for the page can't be honored (by either your isp or someone on the other end) within an X amount of time. In some cases clicking on the link again will get you thru. I remember that happening with my dial-up connection.

Sometimes pages get moved, or removed. The link is a one trick pony. If it isn't where it's supposed to be you won't get there.
