I am helping my parents delete all vestiges of the crummy MSN service they signed a contract for when they bought their PC. I want to delete the software correctly, but in the "Control Panel" "Add/Remove programs" box I can't find anything for sure that is MSN or Microsoft Network. They have one that says something like "Microsoft Internet Connection" but I'm not sure that is it. I also looked in "Start" "Programs" but there is only the icon to connect to MSN, no icon to uninstall or remove. Does anyone know the best way to delete this junk, or the name of the uninstall file"
Thanks,

I have windows NT but this may apply to windows 2000. Right click on the icon to reveal properties. Highlight and click on properties and then click on the shortcut tab. In the target field you should find the location of the program. Perhaps there is an uninstall within that directory.
Good luck |

If you go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs->Windows Setup you will see an option for Online Services. Getting rid of that might ged rid of MSN too.
