Question

How do I set up Outlook express to store my email & address book on my 2nd hard drive instead of the default main hard drive. I want to do this because the 2nd hard drive is where I store my data files, whereas the main drive is where I have Windows 98 and my programs.

Ex-Static-Cling:

Thanks for the info. I've done that and now my email messages are where I want them.

Do you know how to do the same thing for my address book entries and my favourites (Inernet Explorer) list?

Registry changes are always to be done with adequate precautions & knowledge only!!

For Outlook express address book ..
First export the address book to the new directory. then go to regedit [START > RUN > regedit]
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\wab.exe
doubleclick the path and change the path to whatever u need.

for History .. create new folder
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Url History
Double click Directory and change it to the new folder.
