Web Hosting and Email Questions

Hi everyone.
I have a website made in dreamweaver from about a year back and a domain name i got from networksolutions. And i had purchased a hosting plan from them until i realized that i can't upload my dreamweaver site onto their server--apparently, i had to use their dumb web building program.

Anyway, i want to finally put up the website after a year. I'm looking for a professional PAY hosting service. I've read some older posts about the subject but want to know if anyone's opinions have changed.

Also, i'm confused with how pop email works. As of right now i use a yahoo email account, and want to set up several email addresses under my host name. How does that work, and what would i go to in order to check my email? It's a basic question, but i want to be certain i know what's going on before i jump into a web host. I don't wanna make the same mistakes as i had done with networksolutions.

Thanks.

I use HostMatters. They still have great service and uptime.

Generally the way that email works is that you can set it up to forward email from an address to another one. You could also set it up using a client like Outlook Express.

Next time, register your domain with GoDaddy. It costs $8.95, instead of the $35 that NetSol charges you.

I use Webaxxs, their entry level hosting plan is $9.95 a month and it comes with 50 pop mail accounts. You would use any standard email client to send and receive your mail - such as Outlook Express (but I wont use that one personally). They also offer Web access to your mail if you prefer to work that way.
