Yesterday I down loaded adware Every thing went fine. When completed i restarted puter.Ran scan. Every thing seem fine found nothing.A while later went to check email ran out of time . This thing was running so slow i could not believe. Called provider they where not haveing any problemes. Tried getting on web . Could not. restarted 2----3--times nothing.Uninstalled adware. Resarted puter. did not help. defraged etc. nothing. This mornig started up every thing was fine????. Checked mail etc. Left came back later there is a message, resource meter said you are running at 98% shut down some programs or serius damage will accour. As far as I know nothing was running.restarted puter check resources everything was 88 to 98% free.A little resource icon next to clock. could not remove. Restart went away.Anyone have any idea as to what is going on. I would like to reinstall adware but i do not know if that is what caused problem.

I have used Ad-Aware in the past and haven't ever had any problems with it. It really sounds like you have something running in the background tho. Try Spybot S & D and see if it finds anything.

I have not heard of ad-aware doing anything like that.

Thanks I was not sure.Could have been 98 having a bad day. It has not happend since.
