Question picture as signiure

when ive read through a question in most forums ive seen people who have an image as their signiture how do you do that?

Upload a picture to a web server somewhere, then add the HTML in your sig to display it.

something you should realize, though, if you use a free web server, you're probably not going to be able to view the picture, and if you use a pay server, you'll have to realize that everytime anyone reads any of your posts, they are looking at information on your server. that means you can possibly bog down the server and be fined.

You can link to a pic that you like on the web. Right click on the image and go to properties. Highlight the address and copy and paste it into your signature.

All: There are many sites out there that take a very dim view of linking like that, this forum is busy enough that it will drastically increase the traffic on their server and it may even bust the monthly limit with their host. Also, please read the forum FAQ - if the image is excessively sized in the staff's opinion you will be asked to remove it, we try to keep this site friendly to our dialup users.

It's not going to strain THIS server - I was referring to the server that the image is hosted on.
