Hello. I have this wierd problem with Internet Explorer 5..
Whenever I click on a gray box, such as the "Preview Post"
gray box at the bottom of this page, sometimes the box doesn't get pressed and the screen sorta freezes. Also, when I'm filling out a form, such as the "Your UserName"
above, when I move over to the next box(?), in this case "Your Password", the screen freezes again...
I haven't experienced this on other computers, so I don't know what's causing it... any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

This is caused by cold fingers. Wear gloves.

Thumbs up

You could try updating your graphics card driver and see if that helps.

I agree with too, upgrade to 5.5. It's a vast improvement over 5.0.

Wink

I'm not a big fan of 5.5. I was running 5.1 (no service pack), but since 5.5 I have started getting BSOD's, problems shutting down and just plain lockups. Like I said I did not have the service pack, thought when I went to 5.5 the updates would be there. Considering taking 5.5 off.

Whatever problems I had with 5.5 have seemed to be resolved with 5.5 Service Pack 1..........

Confused,
I've installed 5.5 only. I did not d/l and install the service pack and I've had no problems. It's working fine so I don't want to disturb it! Any more, all of these new browsers are so complex that your problems could be coming from anywhere. Overall, the reviews I've read about 5.5 have been positive.
